United Nations Shoah Foundation Holocaust Testimonial VR Software
The Last Goodbye is an award-winning roomscale VR film which presents the firsthand account of Pinchas Gutter, a Holocaust survivor, at the Nazi death camp in Majdanek, Poland. This VR experience was initially featured at a UN/USC Shoah Foundation gala attended by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas before being shown at the Tribeca Film Festival and traveling throughout North America as an educational tool. I am credited as the lead Unity programmer for OTOY who served as the primary technology integration partner on this project. I led a team of developers who optimized and integrated photogrammetry-based assets into the real-time application. I worked directly with director Gabo Arora during an accelerated development schedule so that the software was completed on time and to great acclaim.
